3. What Christmas (or Hanukkah) present do you remember the most? Christmas 1998, I was 7 and I recieved Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone - it changed my life and sparked a life long obsession and love of reading.

5. Name one physical feature that you like about yourself, and one you dislike. sometimes I like my eyes, I’ve actually grown to quite like my boobs (they’re quite big, but not massive). My legs are far too wobbly for my liking.

24. If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? Curry because there are loads of varieties and I wouldn’t get bored

26. Do you believe in a god? I’m agnostic and spirituality and religion fascinates me but I don’t believe in a definitive God.

30. Name a TV series you didn’t enjoy until after it ended. Veronica Mars - I didn’t know it existed ‘til about 3 years after it was cancelled - It’s brilliant!

33. If you go back to one point in time to give advice to yourself, when would you go and what would you say? I would tell my younger self that although my life doesn’t turn out how I expected it does get better and I will find a happy place so I’d tell myself not to give up on life.

35. What is “normal?” Are you normal? If ‘normal’ is what I see displayed by the majority of people out and about then I think I’ll pass on that. I’d rather be a little odd but still be me.

57. Tell me about the last book you read. Currently reading The Hunchback of Notre Dame  by my Idol, Victor Hugo. It’s taking me longer than usual to read but it’s still good. Not as good as his other classic, Les Miserables, but what is?
58. What is the nicest compliment you’ve ever been given? That I could achieve anything I wanted, I think it says alot about my dedication and perseverance. Also it’s always nice when strangers compliment my hair/smile etc.

Who was your first crush? real life - various childhood friends, I can’t remember in which order, one of them when I was about 5 I was convinced I would marry him and now he goes out with my best friend. Celebrity - the first one I remember making my heart actually skip a beat was seeing Heath Ledger in A Knight’s Tale when I was about 10.

Rent - not proper rent but I give my parents money each month ‘cause I still live at home.

I like pretty bras - I don’t own any white ones (because they’re boring) which makes wearing my white transparent work T-shirt difficult bacuse you can completely see my underwear through it :\

Book:  Twilight
Movie:  I like most films that I see - I try to avoid ones that don’t appeal to me like Slasher films
TV show:  The Only Way Is Essex/Deal or No Deal

10: If you were sat on a plane beside your favorite celebrity, what would you do?
I don’t have a favourite celebrity but most of them are actors/singers so I would ask them to sing a duet with me (even though I’d be awful) and then ask if I could have tickets to their latest play/film/concert.

11: What is the strangest thing you have in your room? (You are not allowed to explain why you own it.)
A cardboard box full of keyrings

12: What is a weird habit you have, or people have told you, you have.
I have to eat certain things in very specific ways. I like to deconstruct food and eat it insections/layers - this is especially relevant when eating bread, cake, yogurt, chocolate, apples.

13: What would you consider to be the biggest insult to yourself?
If someone discriminated me because of my mental health issues.

14: What are five things you absolutely have to have in your dream house?
A grand piano, a library, four poster bed, Hot tub, a summer house/gazebo thing in the garden.

A bat - I’d like to fly and bats are quite cool

18: Why is your favorite band your favourite?
The Beatles because they wrote some of the best songs ever recorded and all four of them felt like individual players with their own identities as well as coming together to create magical music. The Beatles music will be some of the most enduring music in the world. PS - George is my favourite <3

19: How many concerts have you attended? Which was your favourite? Least favourite?
I haven’t been to many concerts, mainly local bands. I do frequent the Theatre as reguluarly as possible (never enough though). My favourite thing I’ve seen at the Theatre is Hairspray/Phantom of the Opera/Billy Elliot/Priscilla Queen of the Desert - sorry too many to choose from!

20: What is one of your favorite song lyrics? (Who is it by?)
‘I was happy in the haze of a drunken hour, but Heaven knows I’m miserable now’ - The Smiths. Morrisey is a genius lyricist (even though he’s annoying) and I could happily pick any of their songs for great lyrics but I chose Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now because I had a very vivid dream once where I got fired from a job and started singing this in the middle of a board meeting. It was possibly my favourite dream ever!

There music is classic - everyone should have heard of it so I knew it from childhood

Are you there for your friends?
I try to but they all live in different parts of the country so I don’t get to see them too often :(

What do you do when you get nervous?
 Bite my fingers, touch my face alot, get stomach cramps.

Be honest, do you like people in general?
Not particularly. There are plenty of nice people but the large proportion of arseholes tends to obscure them.

Does anyone completely understand you?
 No - the closest would be either my sister, a few people I used to be in hospital with and my friend Gwen - but none of them completely understand everything about me, no one does :(

Do you have a reason to smile right now?
Yes - 17 days ‘til my B’day!

Has anyone told you they don’t ever wanna lose you?
 No - I don’t think I’d be missed by anyone really

Would you be happier if life had a rewind button?
 No - it would make things more comlicated than it’s worth. the past should stay in the past.

Does it matter to you if your boyfriend or girlfriend smokes?
 I’d prefer them not to but I wouldn’t pressure them to give up or anything

Do you think more about the past, present, or future?
 I don’t think of the future that much - and there are some things in the past I’d rather forget so I focus predominantly on the present.

How many hours of sleep do you get a night?
 7 or 8 on a good day.

 No, I love my sister dearly

 Sometimes - I quite like summer rain but not when it replaces the sunshine completely.

 Probably

Not really - I get envious of some things but that’s different.

My Mum told me that she’s having a hysterectomy in the summer - I can’t tell my sister because she gets stressed about those kind of things, I really hate having to keep it secret from her :(

 Not since I was a child

 Boring (OU Ireland chapter, snore), Sad (Reis left, gonna miss him), Exciting (Les Mis trailer, new sheet music, RENT DVD)

 Getting a better grade than I expected on my Dalai Lama/Plato assignment :D

What impact has number 1 had on your life?
It’s the first musical I’ve watched that made me cry :’(

I love RENT so much and I believe it revolutionised Broadway in the 90’s.

RENT introduced me to a different style of musical - I was used to ALW and more traditional styles of shows but RENT showed me that rock music could work brilliantly on stage.

When did you first get into 2?
2008 after buying the DVD of the film in a closing down sale. Never looked back

How did you get into 3?
I’m addicted to watching Tony Award performaces on Youtube so I watched the SA one and from the very first bars of ‘Mama Who Bore Me’ I was hooked. Plus Jonathan Groff and John Gallagher Jr were a bonus ;) I downloaded the soundtrack immediately.

What is your favorite song by 4?
‘I am the One’ (and the reprise), ‘I’m Alive’, ‘Wish I Were Here’
